What's New at U.S. R.G.C.?
September 10th 2025

Dear RGC Patrons,
Good News/Bad News. Our web host, through a migration error for security updates, (Yes, the glitch that made the news in 2024) LOST ALL OF OUR PRODUCT LISTINGS AND PRODUCTS. Essentially, the E-Commerce portion of the site was lost, and lost for good! This was bad....Super Bad. Well, that's the Bad news....The GOOD NEWS IS: We built
a Brand Spankin' New Website!
RGNN
So the old site, built in 2014, on a platform that was designed in 1995, (Awesome for its time) aged out, and it forced us to rebuild the website. We had planned on the rebuild in 2023, but frankly, we were waiting for the election results of 2024. If the other guys had won, we'd have been out of business. I am neither joking, nor exaggerating. 2020-2024 Politics were KILLING our business. In any case, a website needs to be rebuilt every so often, maybe 7 years or so. Our old website was...Old. That Web Home served us well for years though, and we are grateful. While it was SUPER SECURE, and all of the product pages were undisguised "MCSSL" pages, the new Microsoft EDGE Browser, and one other, didn't recognize our security certificate. There was no way for us to fix it, except to replace the entire site on a different and updated platform. We're gun guys here, not computer guys, so it wasn't easy., AND!! HOLY SMOKE, Waaay more difficult than it was back in 2014.
Anyway, the NEW and improved site is finished AND LIVE.....Except for product upload, and that will never end. In the meantime, if you don't see what you want, ask us, and we'll expedite your specific listing. Realistically, we can do maybe 10 listings per day, 4 days a week, so do the math for 700 Listings total at this time. That math says 17.5 weeks, but it'll be more like 20. The new site has also been streamlined, and is cleaner, easier to navigate and maintain. It is 2025 (Not 1995!) state of the art. I am seriously loving the functionality.
That being said, it was my STRONG DESIRE to have the new site maintain continuity with the old one. We have a unique and specialized product line, so I didn't want the new site to look like a cookie cutter website that sells cosmetics and pocketbooks. More than half of our patrons are repeat customers, and I wanted to maintain a look to our site that is familiar, and retains our company's "Personality". I think we did a pretty good job.
We are continuing to add, tweak, and work on the site. We appreciate your patience during the remodel, and thank you for taking the time to read this. We also listen to suggestions, and are more than happy to hear comments, advice, and criticisms. OH!, If you see a typo, let us know. I personally despise typographical errors.
Sincerely,
G. Vincent Caprio
