Message from the Owner:  Okedoke guys, this gun is one we've been making for years, but only on request.  I hesitate to offer it, and it's never been on the website before.....For two reasons.  One;  It's a genuine PIA.  It's time consuming, and the up-charge for the labor involved doesn't compensate for the extra time required to produce this...Two; I never wanted people to think that our "Deluxe" M1 was in some way wanting for realism...You see, if you have three versions of the same gun, one priced at X, the other at X+20, and another at X+100, you could get the idea that the base gun isn't good...Know what I mean?  Generally, the Standard gun, the DELUXE M1, is AWESOME and all you need for display or re-enacting.  The Deluxe+ Ammo is a nice touch, not too expensive, but still remains mostly unseen....This "Ultimate Finish" version features ALL THE GOODIES of the Deluxe Plus Ammo, but with one additional feature.  A SERIOUS finish upgrade.  here's the deal: About 2014, we were contacted by a collector who builds M1 Garands.  He is an Expert.  He wanted an M1 Garand finished EXACTLY as would have been issued in WWII.  What does that mean?  Well, you may or may not know that the metal on the M1 Garand had three separate finishes.  Some parts were blued, some were parkerized, and the gas tube/Front sight were stainless steel and PAINTED black....All issue guns featured a rear sight lock-bar (Not pictured) as well.  So...The Ultimate finish Garand has AAALLLLLL the goodies of the Deluxe plus ammo, but the metal parts are finished as they would have been in 1940.  The gas tube gets polished bright like stainless, and then painted, with some scratches added....If you are unfamiliar with this, Look at the old WWII Movies, you'll totally see it.   So, This gun is amazing, correct, and lovely to behold.  It is without a doubt the finest replica Garand I have ever seen, and I have been collecting since 1969.  BUT!!!....Is it worth the 100 dollar up-charge?  Some say yes, some say no.  In any event, if you go with our base Garand, The "Deluxe"  DO NOT THINK FOR A MINUTE YOU'RE CHEATING YOURSELF...IT'S AWESOME!!!...This version is just a small amount awesomer.   - G.
