COBALT BLUE TRAINING GUN: "The Boss's Favorite"  The M-16A1 with a 10" INCH BARREL!!  Message from the Owner: “…..Back in the distant past of the 1980’s, before we had acronyms like CQB, PDW, and RIS, we had to make do with just C.A.R..  No Optics, no flat-top upper, no lasers or can opener accessories….We didn’t have ‘em, and we didn’t miss ‘em.  All we needed were Alibis and body bags.  This gun was my personal favorite from that era.  When broken down, this sweetheart would fit in a small 20 inch Gym bag, with ten thirty round mags, and room to spare.  This one looks exact to one I had built to my specs in 1984 or 85.  We’ve never offered this model before, and frankly, I don’t see a great demand, but having been hit with a bit of nostalgia, I thought I’d re-create a longtime friend I knew as “Old Lucky”…..and Yes, I know Frank Hamer had a gun he named “Ole Lucky” too.  I gotta tell you, I really LOVED that gun.”   Cheers   – G. This offering  is basically the same as our M4A1 Shortie, but without the RIS handguard.....Full Size, Full Weight, X-Ray Correct.  Full Functionality: Everything works, just like a live fire gun. Ammo loads into the mag,  Mag loads into the gun, Bolt cycles (DOES NOT LOAD OR EJECT DUMMY AMMO, as per ATF Regulations) Rear sight Adjusts, Front Sight Adjusts, Strips like Original, Butt Stock Adjusts, Carry Handle Removes, Forward assist works, Bolt and charging handle removes, Top Rail (On the M4 Reciever version) is standard 20mm Picatinny Rail that will accept any accessory.  All of our Cobalt Blue Series are full metal, with the only polymer being the Magazine, (This model comes with a metal issue type 30 round mag) The Buttstock, and the Handguard on the Standard Model.  This gun features a 10" CQB Barrel.  We will also offer a flat topped version of this gun for Propmasters. and offer a second RIS handguard for optional accessories and customization. This gun looks amazing on Camera, or on the wall.  As with all of our Cobalt Blue Guns, no disappointments here.
