Colt 1911A1 Replica, Parkerized Finish.  This is an AMAZING Replica of a Colt 1911A1 as issued in WWII, and since the last batch of 1911's the Army Purchased was in 1945, in anticipation of the Japan Invasion that never happened, that means as issued in Korea and Viet-Nam.  Our Replica features FULLY ENGRAVED COLT MARKINGS, Correct Frame Markings and proof marks too. Marker US Property on the Frame. Gun is fully functional, and works just like the original.  Magazine loaded with 6 rounds of Dummy Ammo. The Grips are Plastic panels that mimic the original Bakelite perfectly.....We can add wood grips to this gun, but it doesn't make it better.  One of the few times we reccomend NOT upgrading the plastic grips to wood.
