MESSAGE FROM OWNER: Okedoke guys, alot of Love goes into each one, and that makes this one of my favorites. It has a cool history at RGC that I can only allude to. Around 2018 or so, we were contacted by a Government entity for an ULTRA-REALISTIC AK-47. These are the types of projects I love. The end use, I can not disclose, but I gotta tell you, it was awesome and personally, I was proud as hell to be even a small part in the endeavor......So......This Replica FOLDING STOCK AK-47 starts out from Denix parts. We refinish the metal (Mild to heavy weathering looks best) and add a vintage look to the wood. Most people familiar with the Denix Replica know there are a few flaws and visual ques that make the gun recognizable as a replica to the trained eye. Specifically, the missing front sight, the screw head that holds the selector lever in place, and the grip. While the standard wood grip is neither wrong in shape nor material, it's just a dead giveaway for the Denix made replica....So....We add the front sight post, replace the screw head with a rivet, and replace the old (Pre AKM Style) pistol grip with surplus bakelite. This gives the gun a more modern appearance and Soviet Bloc manufacture. The additions transforms the piece from a fairly good replica to a museum quality item. In addition to this, we add a genuine AK-47 magazine, and top it off with a few rounds of dummy 7.62x39 ammo. (If you have your own magazine, and dummy ammo, they will fit in this gun) The end result of all this is a replica AK-47 that will pass the trained eye lookeloo test with zero visual compromises. These guns are all hand assembled by me, and generally I'll kick out a small batch, or do them one at a time as a special order, so I might have a few on the shelf, or it could take a week to ten days to get one out the door.....Well worth the wait. So, If you need the BEST possible AK-47 Replica, with all metal construction, real wood, a working bolt and trigger that even SOUNDS the same, for your collection, your movie, or other training purposes, this is it....I really wish I could tell you who we made these for. Cheers, -- G. Vincent, US RGC
